760 i and Li engine
Why dosnt BMW offer differnt engines in there 7 series like the 500hp V10. Dose anyone think they will ever offer that option
(I also noticed that they use the same engine options for there 3 and 5 series) Dose any one think the lack of engine options is a mistake on BMW's half. I think they should offer the I6 333hp in the 5 series Anyone agree with this. |

What is wrong with the 438hp V 12 they have in the 760Li? I have found it to be fine for 99.5% of the driving that i do in the car. These are Luxury cars not sports cars, next you will ask for a manual in the 7 series, what do you think the 5 series is for?
And what do you think the cost would be for that engine? |

Re: 760 i and Li engine
v10 engine costs 20,000$ out of the crate. Not including the only trans built for the bmw car line, the 7 speed smg. And since E65's dont have a center consol gear shifter you would also need an entire new center consol. BMW really doesnt feel the need to go through all that hastle just for 60 more horse power.
