Cobra rims
Well my buddy has a 98 Mustang GT with 3 Stock rims and one SVT wheel that he borrowed from someone because he blew up his front rim hitting a curb. Well today 4 brand new Saleen wheel showed up at his door and we installed them today. Well while taking a break I grabbed the SVT wheel and see if it bolted to my 91 VR4. Sure enough it did fit, but I could not bolt it on due to my stock lug nuts being too big, but I immedatly fell in love with the look. So i did my reasearch on 3si and came up with this info, can someone varify?
1. 17x9 Cobra wheels will bolt and fit on a 1st gen VR4 with no issues all the way around with a 24mm offset. 2. They stick out a bit on all sides. Now my questons are 1. Will 17x10 wheels fit on the rear of my vr4 with no fitment issues and what offset do i need to have minimal tire sticking out? 2. will 18 inch rims fit with no rubbing? 3. Are thease direct bolt on or do i need some hubcentric spacer thing or whatever its called? thease are the rims http://www.mustangtuning.com/17x9-f...els-silver.html thanks guys

Re: Cobra rims
10" is too wide IMO. 18's will fit as long as you get proper sized tires.
