flickering headlights
2003 GTP Limited Edition---
Has anyone else noticed on their Grand Prixs that one headlight will tend to bounce and dance, no matter how tightly its screwed in? Its annoying at night when I'm on a bumpy road and my one light is constantly flickering. I've noticed it on Numerous other Grand Prixs driving towards me too. And it always only seems to be just one of the lights. (Usually the passenger side it seems). Someone suggested wedging a piece of rubber or something similar between the headlight bracket and the headlamp itself. Any feedback? |

Re: flickering headlights
Do you have any bumper to bumper warranty left? If so take it to the dealer. The bouncing headlights is a known issue on the 04/05 Grand Prixs not sure about the 2003. A TSB is out on it and the dealers have a fix for it which can be done DIY.
I don't have any problems with headlamp bounce. I guess they don't make em like they used to. ![]() ![]() Thrasher CAI, DHP v1.0 PCM, SLP Headers, 3.25 SC pulley, CAIT GMAF, 2.5 DP/Hi-Flow CAT, u-bend delete, 160 TS, ZZP Stage 1 72mm TB, TB spacer, MSD 8.5mm wires, Autolite 103, Goodyear Gatorback Serp. & SC Belt, Nitto NT555R Drag Radials 1/4 ET: 13.210 sec. @ 104.490 mph 0 - 60 ft: 1.945 sec.
