Question on turn signal and cruise control issue
I just bought a 1995 Buick Century and the left turn signal does not turn off after a turn. The right works fine, but left stays on. The cruise control is also not working and it is built into the turn signal arm. I'm trying to get this car in tip-top shape for my mom so if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this I would GREATLY appreciate it. Please advise. Thanks....

Re: Question on turn signal and cruise control issue
You need to replace the stalk on the steering column. This is a common problem and can be replaced fairly inexpensively. You will need to remove the air bag to do it and if you don't know how to disable the system take the car to a mechanic. You will also need a steering wheel puller and a lock ring depressing tool to remove all the parts.
The stalk is available at auto parts stores as is the spring that moves it back into position. |
