I have an 1987 olds 98 with the same problem. runs fine for about 15-20min. or until it gets hot and stalls. it will start back up after 5-10min. and run for awhile but repeats. i have replaced the oxygen sensor, wires and plugs, ignition coil and ignition control module. still doing the same thing. if i get it figured out i'll let you know and same with you please. i'm banging my head too. thanks grant in san diego 858.395.6058 |

Re: Car Keeps Shutting Off
Theres 3 parts it could be if its electrical.
1. coil modules 2. spark control module 3. Crank Position sensor. On mine I used a timing light to determine it was electrical first. Hope this helps. |
