VFR800 at the track
By far not the best track bike but not bad overall. I lost a lot in the straights. Even to the 600's but seemed to make up some in the corners.
I have ridden at Jennings and Taledega and liked them both but found it hard to stay ahead of the group at Jennings due to the longer straights. I would loose much of the gains I made up in the corners. The nice part about the VFR is that soon after my track day, I rode it 1000 miles in one day on my way to South Dakota to visit family. I wouldn't want to try that on any one of the bikes that passed me on the straights at the track. I really feel the VFR is a good middle of the road bike that gives a broad spectrum of riding capability.

I think you made up in the corner because you have some good cornering skills.
![]() Have you tried the F4/F4i? Very plush for a 600.
