amplifier not working

i've bought this 1994 chrysler concorde 3.3L. The sound system was real buggy (sound goes off sometimes). After a week the sound was dead ... i've changed the deck for the amplifier but still no sound ... i've checked the power on the amp (with a multitester) and got 12V on it... is there any other tricks i should know ?

Thnx in advance!

Re: amplifier not working

The decks Power Antenna lead must be hooked to the Factory harness connection or the amp will not turn on. There is still 12 volts running back there but the remote lead from the radio (the power antenna lead) is what switches the amp on and off.
