new set of rims but what size?
i want to put on a set of new chrome rims, i was looking at 17"s but the ones that i really like only come in 18",19",20" will 18" be to bumpy a ride i done want to compromise my touring comfort. i currently have 15"s @ 7.5". any thoughts please.

Check these guys out at BMWe34.net with info that will help help you out. I'm running 17 inch BMW style 32 staggered wheels with 235/45/17 front and 255/40/17 rear with no clearance problems. BMW makes a lot of wheels that fit the e34, and they are better made and lighter than most aftermarket wheels. Here's a link to lots of pictures of e34's posted by their proud owners. Great shots to give you some great ideas.

I have an 89 535i and just got an 18 inch VOXX set. They run real, real smooth. I like them a lot, haven't had any problems with them at all...
