Mason's f1 gtr at goodwood

Please, post all your Nick Mason's f1 gtr pictures at goodwood festival of speed!

In a precedent thread I found any low-res photos.

Could someone help me to find hig-res pictures?

Cheers

Alberto

Marilyn Manson has an F1GTR?

Or ... are we talking about Nick MASON's car?

Are you talking about this thread?
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...t=goodwood+gtr

I guess that's basically what we have shared.

You could also go and look around yourself and post for us what you find!

I have a few decent pics from when it was there in 2000 I can post later. I wouldn't call them "high-res" but most who haven't seen them will like them.

To upload your own photos try using the website www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.us and follow their instructions for creating an account and uploading photos.

If you get frustrated, you can always email your pictures to me - [email protected] - and I will host them for the forum.

Question Re: Manson's f1 gtr at goodwood

I have a question and it pertains to this thread, which is good because my inquiry is too lame for its own new thread:

When were the taillights on 10R changed to be like the road car's/LM taillights?

(I hope no one minds if I post a picture)

I'm curious if this was something McLaren did for Mason when it was modified to be roadworthy (it seems highly unneccessary) or if the rear was changed after it was "damaged doing ABS(?) testing? (I believe I read that somewhere on here once)

Anyway, it's just something I've wondered and it may have been covered before. Thanks in advance!

My guess (and I stress it's just that) Is that when they removed the air jacks the panel obviously had a hole in it. So they just swapped in another panel without the hole for the inlet.

Or maybe theres some obscure legal reason.

I was going to venture a guess that the car's original lamps weren't road legal, but #06R still has them so that probably isn't true.

Mason's car does still appear to have the connection point for the air jacks though, as does #06R. Not sure if the system is still complete, but if it were my car I would have left it intact.
