Question 89 535i ECU location

I just bought a Mark D'Sylvia chip for my 89 535i and was wondering where do I put it. I can't find the ECU location and the car didnt come with a manual. I was hoping to know where it was before i got the chip in a couple of days.

At the top of you rengine bay, by the windsheild, look for a black box looking ting, its actually just a cover. Now you have to take the screws off then the ECU is in there.

That depends where you are. Passenger if its a North American car, driver if its some of the euro ones.

Right side if your sitting in it
