Sealing a Leak On Roof Ledge

I have a 1990 Escort. We had some rain the other day and I found a leak coming in at the front windshield. I brought it to a glazer who sealed the glass. A week later, it rained again and the leak was still there. After forcing compresed air thru the spot under the windshield where the water comes in, and spraying foam on the windshield and the roof, we discovered that the leak was on the passenger side of the roof where the ledge meets the roof. The water travel under the roof to the front where the windshield meets the body. Its like a gutter for the rain above the passenger side door. Newer cars don't have this ledge (or gutter) to direct the rain anymore. I was told I could seal it with a brush on epoxy paint. What is the best way to seal it? Thanks!

You can move down here to Yuma. No rain=No leaks It might be a pain but can you drop down the head liner and seal it from the inside with silicone?
