CD Player Mod.

I own a 97 Eldo. It did not come with a CD player. However, I would like to install one. Would it be possible to remove the ashtray/cigarette lighter in the front of the center console and insert a CD player, say from a 97 Suburban (just the rectangular CD box, unless there's more to it) and put that where the ashtray used to be? Also, could I wire this through my radio somehow? If not, how coud I "make it work?" Thanks to all who give advice.

Do you know if the trunk is wired and has the mount for the 12 CD changer?

I have a '98 ETC and I bagged a changer on eBay for $70 that required a bolt to mount it and then just plugged it in to the existing cable. I also needed to get the cartridge to load the CDs in which I think was around $20. A GREAT deal considering Caddie sells them for almost $700 !!
