hissing noise in cabin
99 grand am...anyone have any ideas on what might be causing a hissing noise inside the cabin? it seems to be coming from somewhere around the climate control knobs. as soon as you turn the engine off the noise dies down then stops. something to do with a fan up front...? thanks guys

Re: hissing noise in cabin
You have a vacuum leak probably in the valve that controls the heater vents. You will have to open up the dash to find it but start with the area directly behind the heater control knobs.
The noise stops when you shut the engine off because there is no vacuum coming from the engine. |
