Re: 04 GTO VS Grand National

It's funny how a car (like the GN) when new was considered a monster even in stock form because face it, back in the mid to late 80's getting 200+ HP from a V6 was not very common turbocharged or otherwise, and it gave a lot of smogged out V8 powered rides a run for their money back in those days. Granted today 200 HP is more common in N/A 4 bangers but only because of the technology advancements that were made. But a bone stock GN designated as mediocre in today's world should be considered blasphemy, back in their day they were considered the shit much like the 60's musclecars were, and nobody calls them mediocre but yet by todays performance standards they are. Sure stock for stock the newer stuff can run circles around them but don't put them down just because they are now slow compared to the cars of today, they were the technology leaders of their time and really should be appreciated as such.
