New Scoobie
Like another member who posted i too am interested in a Impreza... my G-body (cutlass) is failing as well. Which imprezas in the US came Awd? i Found one in the paper but that was a shitty fwd...Also i dont mind what year impreza it is as long as a EJ20turbo fits in it. i Believe im looking for a 93-98 is there a 92 model that is AWD?
I dont know about you guys but a late 90's japanese sedan AWD 6spd 2.5 liter turbo(DANM) sounds like a fucking sleeper to me. PEACE

From '93 through '96 the Impreza was available in either AWD or FWD, from '97 onwards, they have only been available in AWD.
The only way to know if a pre-96 is AWD is to check, it should have the AWD logo on the trunk lid, or if that's missing, look underneath for the rear differential.
