Fuse keeps blowing - no taillights

A fuse blew the other night, the one to my taillights, and now when I try to replace it, it just blows again when I turn the lights on. Is there a short in the wire somewhere? and could this be caused by a blown bulb?

try removing all the bulbs, replace the fuse turn the lights on. If the fuse does blow, which it probably will, its a short somewhere. Get the tester out, start checking the power line at connections to narrow it down. Good luck.

ok, now how do I get to the taillights? I can't figure out how to get those plastic pieces off in the trunk without breaking them.
