Help with powered window

I never used my passenger power window on my 97 firebird, and one day about a year ago, it stopped rolling down. It would roll down about an inch and then stop, and then it would roll back up only a little bit at a time.
Well, the other day I decided to do something about it. So, I decided I would try and take my door frame off and take a look. Here lays the problem, I cannot for the like of me take the door frame off. I read in some other website that there are little latches that cling onto the door frame from the inside, and you have to stick something in there and pop them off.
I had my brother help me and he just broke one piece off. Please help me, I want to take my door frame off, without breaking it. Any advice would help. Thank you!

New Power Window Motor Question

So, I got the inner door frame off on my passenger side 97 firebird door. I was just wondering if I need to remove another metal framing that has plastic on it to get to the power motor? Thanks for the help.

Your power window motor is going bad and the part from GM is $150 so you might want to look around ebay. its not terrably hard to put on
