Red face I need a loud BOV!!!

I need a BOV that is incredibly loud and sounds nice for my 95 gsx. I hear the HKS SSQV is loud and works good. Any suggestions or comments>?

Re: I need a loud BOV!!!

greddy type s - 200ish
stock from a 1g - 40

performance wise both hold good amounts of boost, my 1g is holding 20psi easy and is loud.

Re: I need a loud BOV!!!

I got the type-S, rerouted still into the intake, and it still sounds as loud as a damn semi air break, and such a good Tone! so glad i didn't get the 1G. a Friend of mine has it (the 1G), pushing 21 PSI on a bushor 20G (s/p) and it doesnt sound anywhere close to my type-s on 15 PSI,and his isnt rerouted through the intake(like mine). I LOVE IT! highly suggested you get a used one though for price reasons, i got mine for $225 W/ a used greddy piping kit, upper and lower hard pipes! thats a $200 Piping kit! Great Buy! shop around is the best peace of advice for you. just watch one on E-bay, as usual, lots of "wanna B's" that are NOT just as good!

I just put on my HKS SSQV and it is soooo loud!! It has been acting up though...When I get to about 3500 rpm it feels like my tires are going to fall off..Is this because my BOV isnt recirculating the air through the intake? How do I fix this problem if I still wanna have a loud BOV but have my air recirculating? Also, what kind of intake should I get so it's compatible with my BOV?

I recommend that you recirculate the BOV for optimal performance. But if you dont want to recirculate, then you can get a MAFT or DSMLINK! Please search next time, and if you dont know what a MAFT and/or DSMLINK is, research that to!

Tighten the bolt on back of the bov til theres 3-4 threads left. I vented my hks and didnt notice a difference but sound in my eclipse.

Re: I need a loud BOV!!!

yep^^ but for the desperate who just cant wait, just take out the routing between the BOV and the intake, and there you go, loud and cool, but pretty dangerous..
