My boss at work has been harrasing me about racing him after work for a few months. he has a 02' Stratus SE 2.7l V6 with cai and catback dual exhaust. His is automatic with the sportshift deal. My rides a 94 'Lude Si 2.3 h23 with no mods 5spd. well we raced 2x, the first time he got BEAT he said it was due to his sportshift( where you can manually shift in auto, wtf IS it called?) so he raced straight automatic and once again i smoked his ass from the get. we raced about 1/8 mile. he was talking trash about 4 cylinder engines to everyone for months and got his V6 ass served. Now i feel like racing other cars. My question is. what other cars should i be able to beat in a race. Eclipses?? Celicas?? etc. My girlfriend raced another bud in my car against a Ford Probe and also smoked HIS ass. How the hell you gonna let a girl beat you???

Well i dont wanna just get my ass handed to me racing anyone. If i knew i couldnt touch a stock "whatever" then i wouldn't bother. Like the new Tiburons, i aint gonna touch that. wouldnt be too wise to race just anybody for the sake of racing. no? Thanks for the replies tho'..

Sometimes that happens. It's part of racing.

You'll give a Tib a better run than you think. That's why bench racing sucks - too many other factors to consider besides manufacturers hp claims.
