can a 92-95 civic tranny fit into a 96-00???
I have an 99 ex auto and wish to swap it with a manual.
I found this 92-95 civic tranny and was hoping if it fits my 96-00. I want to make sure so I won't waste my money. |

I think it will fit but it would be better to get the OBDII tranny from the 96+ to make it a little easier and i think the mounts for the tranny might be in a little different places from the 95 compared to the 96+.

You might not be able to do it because the 92-95 thing is a cable while the 96 is a hydro, i think im not to sure sure bout it so u should get more info bout it.

Yes the 5th gens are Hydraulic and there were slight changes made from generation to generation so it might not be possible.
