Head Lights Won't Come On

Hey,

My head lamp covers were broken and I drove in the rain. Now my lights won't come on. They worked fine before.

I tested the bulbs for continuity with a voltmeter and they were fine, and I tested the socket and there was no voltage. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a likely fuse to replace. The owner's manual says there is a circuit breaker in the light switch? Do they mean the switch built into the door? How can I access this? Does this seem likely to be the problem? How can I fix it?

When you turn on your lights does any other light come on like the tail lights, or dash lights?

My first thought was that the rain got on the bulb and broke the glass because of the quick cooling. However, you checked this. When you checked for power at the socket, (sorry I have to ask) was the switch on?

I'd check for a bad gound. Put your ground for your meter on a good known ground and check the hot again on the socket.
