Help my 2000 V6 alero will not start

I can back from lunch and the car was fine. I went to go on an office errand and it would not start. All the electrical worked but it just made a clicking noise. Please help!

Welcome to the forum. My bet is either a) your alternator or b) your battery died. I would have both tested, and then go from there. Did you try jumping it??

I would go with the battery. If the alternator were dead, you have gotten a warning sooner, especially since you had been driving the car earlier that day. Also check to make sure there is no corrosion around the batter posts or cables and make sure the grounding is correct.
