1992 Grand Marquis Idle problem & codes

Ran a scan for codes due to the check engine light flashing every once and a while and the engine dieing at idle. The codes logged were:

• 157 – Mass Air Flow sensor fault, low voltage
• 172 - HEGO (HO2S) sensor fault/lean
• 176 - HEGO (HO2S) sensor fault/always lean

From reading similar posts it appears the engine dieing is related to the Mass Air Flow sensor and I wondered if there is anything else I can do before replacing it? Would a problem with the Mass Air flow cause the other sensor codes?

Check other posts here. There's some good ones telling you how to clean the MAF with electronic cleaner spray. Try that.
