Help Help Help
First timer... I have a 89 cherokee pioneer that I had to put a fuel pump in. The old one was frose up but didn't blow a fuse since the new one runs fine. Now I have injector pressure of about 39 lbs but the injectors won't fire. Ground is on the injectors one wire as it should be but never gets 12 volts on the other to fire injector. The Electronic Control Unit has 12 volts to # 7 & 8. or at least is indicated their on the test plug. I pulled a fuel injector cap and hooked in a 12 v light in place of the injector which is suspost to flash when cranking the engine but it doesn't. Engine will start with starting fluid but will not run when injectors are suspost to do their thing. Any suggestionswould be appreciated. Please e-mail [email protected] or post reply. |

Re: 89 cherokee fuel injecting no 12 v power
you need a set of noid lights to properly test the injectors.

Re: 89 cherokee fuel injecting no 12 v power
are you sure you have 39 lbs at the rail when the engine is turning over?
