Re: Need Quick Help

If your willing to go far enough to drill out a lock you might as well bust out one of the smaller rear windows and unlock the door. It will be much cheaper to replace a rear triangle window then your lock assembly.

Re: Need Quick Help

One of my friends had the same problem with her sunfire. It was a 97 I beleive, and her ignition was busted so when the car was running, she could take the key out of her ignition. Well she forgot something in school, and went home. In order to get into her house, her house key was on her keychain. I think you know where this is going.

Well, she didn't want to take the time to take the key off, because she might have been late. She went inside, got what she needed walked out and before she shut the door, locked the house door. Got to school and forgot about her keys. She shut the door to her car and walked up to the school

She had to call her mom before she walked into the school, to have her come unlock the car. Her car was still running and was running for about a half hour. Quite funny, but sucks. She no longer has the car.

Re: Need Quick Help

Also forgot to add in. Yes, breaking the window will set off the alarm but keep in mind 3 points.

1: No one gives a damn that someone elses alarm is going off. Lets face it folks if its not your car your not going to be too quick to jump in to save the day.

2: Once you get in you can shut it off quick enough.

And most importantly...
3: Its your freakin car!!!!!

Bust the window. If you cant reach the switch with your arm make sure to have something on hand that you can reach it with. Get in shut down the alarm and grab yourself a plastic bag and some tape.

Re: Need Quick Help

why cant you just wait and have a tow truck come to help you...they actually have tools that are used for shit like that..i would rather wait and see if they can do anything before breaking windows and drilling out locks..BTW

1-drilling out the lock would set the alarm off aswell as breaking a window

2-drilling out the lock is one of the dumbest things you could do just cuz you locked your keys in your car..cuz really..after you drill the lock...your screwed for security..

3-make a damn spare man..thats the point of a spare key is for shit situations like that

Yeah for real. Why cant you slim jim it? My mom wasnt home one day to bring me my extra set so I went into home depot (where I locked them in) and got a 1/8 metal stick/pole think. If you put your hand flat on the glass and push down you can move your window a little. We moved it down some and jimmied the lock open with the wire/pole/stick thing. If that doesnt work, I would break the window, getting new locks isnt going to be fun.
