What Are These Holes In Dashboard

I noticed these small holes in the dash of my 98 lesabre custom . to be precise.....they are located on the simulated woodgrain to the right of the steering column. It looks like a small speaker or microphone? what is this?

Dude, it's for the special politician only option. It's for a special derect line conversation to the president. I bet you could contact old GW if you knew how to work it. You could sell that car on ebay for like 100000 dollars.

Just kidding, it's for the interior temperature sensor.

Tman, I think that one of the reasons that i dont want to part with my Lesabre is that it is black with chrome trim/grill/ and chrome push button door handles.....Also, the 98 dashboard. as it may seem tacky or outdated . I think that it is authentic......classic. masculine, and original. it says " this is a mans car" it doesnt look like every other car on the road. Come on Tman.....dont you love the late 90's lesabre styling?

LOL this is true. I guess that i am overly excited about owning a buick (Day 5 now) and want to learn or read anything i can about buicks (pre 2000). thanks for all of your responses.
