'92 1.9 Clio Diesel Acting Weird

hello people, I bought a clio diesel recently. There's a couple of things wrong with it - you have to jam the gearstick into gear especially second even with the clutch right down. Secondly, the steering is really heavy on tight turns and thirdly, I switched it off last night and the fan was still running. Had to start the engine again and switch off to get it to stop. Any advice anyone? apart from that its a great car to drive. cheers, pabs
