Altitude?

I just moved from Chicago to Wyoming and i was wondering if theres anything i need to do to my car due to the thinner air? I have noticed my car has lost some of its pep and takes a little longer to accelerate. Its a 95' 2.2L 3speed. with 86,000 miles.

Re: Altitude?

You have a baro sensor on board that tells the pcm that you have moved, any way you will loose power normally due to the lower 02 at higher altitudes.

Re: Altitude?

Yeah unless you got boost, your engine will become weaker because it is aspirated at altitude. Drop in a turbo or supercharger and it'll go back up due to more air pressure being forced in
