Brake Light Switch

My car was stuck in park so i checked the brake switch and noticed that one of the wire that connect to the connector, which connects to the brake switch was unattached how can i fix this

You can simply cut the other wire, remove the connector from the switch and install a "crimp-on female spade terminal" on each wire, then push it onto the "male spade" terminal on the switch.

Ok what is a crimp-on female spade terminal and what is a male spade terminal?

Or you can buy the connector from Ford and replace the connector.
