One more question on the heater hose

Got the part I needed, (see my other thread on looking for a part #). One final question before I do this coolant flush.

At the firewall, where the two heater hoses are, which one is the inlet? and which is the outlet? I see two heater hoses here. One top one, one bottom one.

Finally, just a few general questions before I do the coolant flush. Is there anything I should watch out for? I know the basics, like not to turn on the hose full blast and all, be sure to open the rad. drain, take the rad. cap off, ect. I'm switching to Prestone EL.

The inlet is the bottom hose, and the outlet is the top hose. If you follow the directions on the kit, you'll be ok.
