Will probably be flamed BUT (WTB)

I have a Honda del Sol and I am sick of it, I love the car a TON but it is a bad luck kinda car for me. So I figure, I had the del Sol, time to move on to the next car on my dreamcar list of reasonable dream cars. I am looking to buy a 2.5 Impreza. Preferably 4 door, but will happily buy a 2 door. Here is the catch, I only want to spend 5500 on it. If anyone has one for sale, I will most likely go to anywhere in the country for a good deal on a good car. I am located in Michigan. Also, it MUST be a manual transmission, I don't know how to drive an auto.

Thank you, Jordan.

Re: Will probably be flamed BUT (WTB)

Yeah it does. I tried driving an auto again. I ended up slamming my left foot on the break and jamming it into second when approaching a stopsign. Plus I would possibly pull all my hair out not shifting ever again. I want to do the basics (intake, exhaust, pulley, cams, cam gears, and manifolds (i would go headers but i want to not buy something so big that wont be used in project turbo) )

Re: Will probably be flamed BUT (WTB)

chevyboy, i have been in a cavalire before, hell, i have one in my driveway. 2.2ohv 5 speed. that fucker is slow. from what i read the 3.5 impreza not only is an impreza.(because imprezas are masters of badassery) but is pretty good on the hp/tq area. upwards of 160 on both stock. I don't want a Z because I like being unique in my small town area. In my small town people ask me what my car is. I tell them a Miata to fuck with them. Noone has even heard subaru around here.

Not true it looks like there is a fuel injected Dodge Caravan behind your car.
