yah, but what for? You might as well go with an H motor since you have to use the H mounts to put in the F anyhow.

Just sell the accord and spend that money on getting a different motor.

Re: can i swap f22b into my civic

Why take a perfectly good car and remove the engine to put into a different car? Why do you want to swap so bad? There are plenty of ways to make hp and torque increases without swapping. And alot that are cheaper. If your really looking to make your ride fly you shouldn't need to swap. You've already got a great engine to start with (D16Z6 VTEC) and there are tons of things available to get you power gains.

So you have the rare VTECH as well, huh? Supposedly, Honda only put that extra "H" on only a few cars!

I was one of the lucky ones!

Re: can i swap f22b into my civic

because i have a 1.5 non vtech block with a 1.6 vtech head and vtech barely kicks in...and the accord is in bad shape but the motor is in good shape and plus i want to be the only one with that engine in a civic. plus its faster then a d16

Read the h22a swap thread at the top of the '92-'95 sub forum. And in response to the title of your other thread (which you should deleted since it's the same thing s you just posted in this one); you use aftermarket mounts. Check out hasport.com and hcp engineering (their site has been down for months). They are not stock mounts, it is a special mount kit to be able to put an H or F-series engine into a Civic/Integra.

Re: can i swap f22b into my civic

but look at your budget first to see if you can afford a h22 swap...since you already have the f22b motor you can just go ahead and swap that in for a lot cheaper...my cousin has a f22b dohc swap in his car and he got it for dirt cheap so i think it was worth it...what #s are the sohc vtec f22b putting out?
