Re: Most McLaren F1's in one picture?

It was a great idea, but it never materialised. Why ofcourse is something you will not find in any side-column news item in the car magazines.

Re: Most McLaren F1's in one picture?

Aparently something did happen but it turned into more of a publicity stunt by the organizer (not McLaren) and only a few cars showed up. At least thats how i remember it.

No, nothing happened. It was postponed, then canceled.

I'm not talking about the one to Le Mans. This one was a few years ago. A good friend of tvrfreak told me about it

Sure

He's proven to me numerous times he's "in the know". What reasons would he have to lie to me about an event in France?

Re: Most McLaren F1's in one picture?

So we're talking 2001?? How many F1's? And where did they show up? If this thing did take place, like you are saying, I'm sure we can go and search in certain places to find some nice photographic material.

Thanks,

Bucciali

I doubt there are any photos anywhere. They would have surfaced by now

Re: Most McLaren F1's in one picture?

First one, no, unfortunately.

Second one, possibly. It's a detail shot of a bigger image showing the 4 different types, F1, F1GT, F1 LM and F1 GTR. Search for 'Rosso' and thou shall find it.
