1996 pontiac sunfire 2.2 4cyl. 5 speed

my cars gauges jump up & down and stalls no engine light is on

anything else....

by your info, it's electrical IMO, bad ground maybe? screwed up computer? or maybe a short somewhere.

i checked for power to the camshaft sensor,crankshaft sensor,&the map sensor.all were good. i drove it around the block & it started to idle high after I switch gears I couldnt find a vacuum leak or anything.the dash lights and gauges didn't flicker though & it didn't die like previously stated
