junkyard carbs?

if i were to go to the autowreckers would there be any carbs out there that are a direct bolt-on for my 85 crx? i'm looking for something bigger, but not willing to spend $600 on dual webers.

Re: junkyard carbs?

So far as I know, nothing else will just bolt right on. You'll have to fabricate an adapter plate on order to get anything else on there.

BTW, I've got an extra Weber down draft carb that would be perfect for your conversion. I've been holding on to it in case I ever end up with a carbed car. But, if you're interested in it, let me know.

Re: junkyard carbs?

yes, eldo at rpr.com ran a 650 Holley for a while with pretty good results, he ended up swapping it out for something else because of a leaky throttle shaft.
