Question exhaust modification...

Quick question...is there any way to put a high flow cat convertor on my V8 95 bird? I have asked around about just yanking off the cat all together to get the best flow...however not only would that be against the law but it would mess up the back presure...so anything to make my car louder and improve the performance at the same time??? any advice would help. thanks...

oh and as a side note I was wondering about cutting off the exhaust system off from the cat back, hook a Y to the pipe right behind the cat and bringing two pipes straight back a few feet and then bring them out in front of the drivers wheel...again any advice would be well taken...thanx all

Correct me if I am wrong. Since you live in Yuma, do not have to get an Emissions test. Correct?

I've got two hi-flow cats with one, mid-mounted, Magnaflow muffler.

Check the following thread for some exhaust sound clips ...

Are you talking about a "true dual exhaust"?

Re: exhaust modification...

Many states don't allow the exhaust to exit in front of the rear wheel due to the higher risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. What is your life worth to you?

Re: exhaust modification...

i'd put turn downs on before I'd go before the rear wheels.
