i have a problem with my turn signals...i dont have any lol. i checked the fuse and its ok. i also have no hazards. im assuming its the relay but i dont have the owners manual and im not sure which number it is. any help would be great! thank you...

https://web.msslib.dealerconnection....000c58800067d6 If that does not work, go to www.fleet.ford.com and click on maintenance, owners manual, then enter information. You need Acrobat reader to open the files. When it opens, go to road side emergencies. then page up until you see the fuse panels.

I had to change mine a couple of years back, I have 98 Taurus as well. The relay is a square box about 2" square under the dash to the left of the steering column and attached to part of the frame for the dash board. Its a bear to get to as it is up near the top of the dash and toward the rear of the car as opposed to toward the front. Its hard to explain, but you will have to be on your back and reach way up into the dashbaord. Good luck. Its relatively easy to replace once you have disconnected it from the dash frame.

thank you for the site for the owners manual.
also thank u for the help with the relay under the dash. im not sure if thats the problem or not because i tried to switch them all around and my signals never went on. do u remember which one it was inside the box? dunno what else it could be? |
