Hi, Im Thinking about getting the underdrive pulley system for my '84. Is there really a gain in HP/Torque? I also would like to know if there is a way of not use the smog pump without taking it out, like a smaller serpentine belt, and if so, what size would that be? I wanna leave the smog pump in place becasue I have to take my car to emissions once a year, and they do look for it, so I was thinking of just swap belts, use the normal one for the inspection, and then swap it again with the smaller one when Im done with the inspection. They have the 2 piece and the 3 piece pulley systems, so I think Im go with the 3 pc. Im gonna need 2 belts, so how do I find out the sizes? One has to be for the underdrive pulleys WITH smog pump, and the other one for the underdrive pulleys WITHOUT the smog pump.
