97 Sebring JXi Fuel Gauge Problem

I have a 97 Sebring Conv. with only 15,000 miles on it. When I filled up the gas tank, the gauge stopped at 3/4 of a tank when the gas pump stopped. The Empty Light kept flashing on and off. The second time that I filled the tank the gauge read Full , however, the computer that is supposed to estimate how many more miles you could go on a full tank read 365 miles, I estimate that this is off by about 50 miles or so.
I took it to the dealer and had the fuel sending unit replaced, it did fix the Fuel Light flashing on and off, problem, however, now my gas gauge estimation still seems to be off by about 1/4 of a tank. Currently I have driven 168 miles on a tank of gas and it still shows that I have 3/4 of a tank left, which is not accurate. I am concerned that when I do get close to an empty tank that the Fuel Light will not come on. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
