i started out ordering a 3" in/dual out Hooker (i think...) muffler and they ended up sending the wrong type of single in dual out...i needed an in and out on one side and an out on the other side and they sent one with an in on one side and both outs on the same side that i paid around $125 for i think and i took that back and told them that they had ordered they wrong muffler and exchanged it for the Dynomax and paid the difference....ended up being around $185 for the muffler $20 for the 3" exhaust elbows and $39 for the 2 3" tips and $25 for labor. all together around $270

Re: new exhaust

Christ!! All that for a muffler?!?!? For $100 or cheaper you could have gotten an entire catback.

Re: new exhaust

that really sucks... i went with a magnaflow cat-back on my 3.4, best sounding exhaust on a v6.. IMO..

Re: new exhaust

i wanna say i only paid around 300 or so.. but you gotta know that any exhaust you put on your car is gonna sound ricey at some point.. but Magnaflow is defiantely the way to go..

Re: new exhaust

Well you've gotta give it a break in period. My Borla sounded somehwhat high pitched at first. But now, it's gotten this really nice deep low tone and I love it. Just give it some time and see if it doesnt start to sound any better.
