I'm going to go ahead and say...

...DeLay should probably save himself a lot of hassle and just shut the hell up.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20051002/pl_nm/delay_dc

From the article:

"Our opponents, the Democrats, have no agenda. ... Their only agenda is this kind of politics of personal destruction. ... When people see what this is really about they will be so upset with the Democrats you might see the biggest Republican election in this country in a very long time."
-Tom DeLay

In an interview with "Fox News Sunday," DeLay dismissed the charges of violations of Texas campaign finance laws as "politics at its sleaziest," led by Democrats who he said have long sought to oust him from his powerful position.

Waahhhhhh...... Waaaahhhhhh... Keep whining about it, loser. If court finds you guilty, you'll pay for your act. If you're found innocent, you can go on with your life and chalk it up to the fact that, the higher a position of power you hold, the greater a chance you will be targeted for wrongdoings. Which would make you all the more dumb for having pursued it if you ARE found guilty. It's called living in the public eye, buddy.

I hope he goes to prison for a long, long while.

-edit- of course that clearly states my position that I think he's guilty as charged. Time to stop corruption, I say.

If he's found guilty then of course he should be tossed in the slammer. However, his assessment of the democrats is pretty much accurate - its just to bad that it also describes a lot of the republicans as well.

Read democrats as politicians, and it makes more sense.
