What are your thoughts on chains on a rwd r/t?

Hs anyone tried using tire chains or cable on a RWD R/T??

Tire chains are normally recommended due to the damage they could cause on the suspension.

Thanks. Just wondering since we live on a hill. i was just going to keep a pair in the back during the winter for emergencies.

Not a bad idea, but a couple heavy bags of sand over the rear wheels will help, too.

Did you check the owner's manual? What did it say?
