1988 Mustang Saleen

There is one for sale for $2,000. I don't know the condition of the car other than the body has slight damage, nothing big. I am wondering how much these are worth? I have searched on the net and there is not much information on this car. Does anyone know where I can find the specs for this car? Thanks

I'm 99% sure it's the real thing. I'm also pretty sure there were under 1000 made in 1988. But, I'm having a hard time finding the fine details of the car.

I see it as a double edged sword. Sure it's probably rare but it's only an optical package. During those years Saleen only improved the looks and not the performance.

Re: 1988 Mustang Saleen

1988 Mustang Saleen, 708 were produced. 546 hatchback's, 137 verts and 25 coupe's. There were only suspension and visual changes down to this year Saleen.

$2,000 seems extremely cheap to me, makes me think it's a knock off, or if it is real it's completely beat to hell. Know what your getting into first, take some pictures, check and cross reference the Saleen car number and research the authenticity.
