Hello,
seeking a quick answer...i looked at a suzuki 95 metro equivalent (swift?), is the suzuki a better vehicle, is the suzuki swift made in japan or canada? ...fun to drive but it had the 1.3 litre 4 cylinder with 5 speed, a lot of fun to shift...i really wanted the 1.0 litre economy engine, would the 1.0 have a significant decrease in pep over the 1.3? can i later bolt right in a 1.0 in place of the 1.3 litre? this is a 95 model, composite headlamps, 2 door hatchback, 5 speed...are the trannies the same for 1.0 and 1.3? i am thinking of getting this 1.3 vehicle and later swapping out the smaller engine if more economy is necessary...and i would like to find out what else i would have to switch..motor mounts? computer? tranny? axle shafts? are the alternators, starters, throttle body carbs the same? what year of seats will swap out and bolt right in?

a few other niggles, there is a small hole in the passenger side rocker panel?!? i looked at the body where the drive axles poke through and did not see any visible corrosion, looked pretty clean, no signs of wreck, a few fender dents here and there (thin metal?), rear stabilizer bar is rotted away from its mount at rear center?!?, brakes feel as if rotors are needed, PB but no PS, drove fine...refreshingly fun

what is this car worth? what would you pay? drives, shifts OK, air bags(2) look intact, drivers side mirror missing

...$1000? $750? $500?...less?

i plan to look again tomorrow (10/5), your prompt comments and suggestions are very much needed and most appreciated
Thanks! Mark
