1985 D100 --- bought it used about 10 months ago and it ran great when we bought it. About a month after we bought it the truck started to 'bounce' when we put on the brakes. It got to the point where we thought the truck body was going to bounce right off the frame because it bounced so much! We have tried everything we know to try . . . rotated the tires, new brakes all the way around, new rotors & bearings, brand new tires all the way around and had them balanced, new shocks all the way around. What now?!??! Any suggestions?!?!?

Re: bounces when braking
It could be the "Death Wobble" that many people have had (usually in Jeeps). I'd have your front end parts checked out, if they are worn then they could flop around under braking and could cause a tremendous vibration.

Get a steering stabilizer and put on it. all the 4x4's have them they will wobble exact same way when the stabilizer goes bad your linkage is worn somewhere and this stabilizer is a very cheap and easy way out. it's around $40.00 and will bolt on with small ubolts it looks like a shock absorber
