Re: Reset Oil change light help??

Open the fuse panel on the side of the dash. There should be a red button that says "RESET". Hold it down for 10 seconds.

I'm not sure if they changed it throughout the years, but on my 97 GP, I turn the ignition to on (don't start the car), then pump the accelerator pedal three times and then the light starts flashing. Turn off the ignition and it's reset.

I have a 97 Regal GS....There is a drivers information display...its tells MPG's, oil life etc...when switched over to the oil life screen push and hold the reset button until oil life says 100%

as StevePT said, turn to ignition, pump the gas pedal quickly 3 times, and you have to wait about 5-10 seconds and it will start flashing, start the car and you're set.

never heard about a reset switch though...different models, different systems i guess
