Never buy OBX gauges

I was in my garage earlier and saw one of these shit gauges that nobody should ever buy and decided to post a little warning. These gauges are absolute shit, don't read right, have the worst hardware, and won't stay together. Let me tell you why. The boost gauge is not accurate at all. I had one for a while and it never read past 18psi. When I put an Autometer gauge in I found out boost was spiking to 25psi! The hardware they include for the boost gauge and the oil pressure gauge are hazardous and extremely dangerous. They use a nipple style connector that doesn't hold any pressure at all. You also have to push the tubing over the nipple and it will end up cracking the tube. I didn't have much experience with hooking up gauges when I bought these and didn't know any better. The oil line blew off several times and the boost gauge tube split open several times. Luckily I was paying close attention when these things happened and didn't run the car after they blew off but things could easily have been worse. DONT BUY. These fuckers should be put out of business.

Re: Never buy OBX gauges

They were a little cheaper then regular gauges but not so cheap that they shouldn't work. I don't remember the exact price though.
