I got $ and want somethin FAST....suggestions?
Alright I got a little bit of money saved up, and have been wanting to get an RC for awhile, what do u suggest I go with?
Here is what I've been looking at: I like the faster nitros and want to get a Nitro car, so I've been thinkin about getting a HPI (I like what they offer and I like the chasis setups). I'm thinkin a HPI RS4 Evo RTR or at least a rolling chasis that I could drop just a few things in, (like maybe a bigger engine like a .18, .21 or even a .25 or .28) You know somethin 4WD and fast. However I have heard that TC3s are better...so I need some suggestions. Im looking at spending around $200 - $300 to get me started and then maybe another $300 to add on to whatever kit later on.

Best thing to do is go down to your local hobby shop and see what cars they support (stock parts for). Of the cars they support, pick the one you like best. These cars will break, and nothing is worse than having to wait a week or so for a part to come in, just to get running again.
If this is your first car, whatever you choose will most likely be fast enough. Learn how to drive it, and just as important, how to fix it. Then when you've had some experience to can decide whether or not to hop it up. |
