diagnostic plug location/knock sensor

i've already done a search and couldnt find anything about the plug location, can anyone tell me where its located?

i've also been having some problems when i'm driving the car, the oil and alternator/battery light come on and i lose power to everything and use of the clutch. i've replaced the alternator and battery, could the knock sensor be the cause of this? i've been told it could have something to do with it. any help would be GREATLY appreciated. i miss driving the lude.

if you are talking about the service connector to check the code. Its under the passenger side, left kick panel. The piece in front of the center console assembly. The connector is blue.

the shop i work at doesnt have a OBD1 diagnostic tool, but i got it up on a lift and checked out the knock sensor. its tight. my dad said he had the same problem with a van and mustang of his. he suggested it could be a voltage regulator. has anyone else had this problem? how did you fix it?
