Thank you blender, i was going to say the truck doesnt run at 160, if someone understands how thermostats work they would realize that, the thermostat will actully run at 185 degrees and closes at 160, as for me i know my truck runs at about 185 to 190. im sure it will be just fine. Just like Mr. Nelson says.

I just got back from getting my A** WIPED by his GOAT and we talked about the T-stat. In my '05 VHO he recommends like other trucks get the thermostat lower and then the fan turn on point can be brought down to keep a constant 185*-190*.
I will be installing the 160 t-stat before the tune on Friday so he can set the elect fans to go full before 230*. Now I think that is way warm enough....
